Norman Ng:
We had a wonderful turnout for our first speaker of our Speaker Series! Norman Ng impressed us with all of us his tricks as well as made us all laugh. Come out to see all of our other speakers coming up!
AASU Presents:
Norman Ng, a magician who uses his own unique methods, has been performing for over 17 years! He will be performing some of his unique techniques. So come out Monday @ Orange and Brew, 8:00PM to 9:00PM. Take a look at our flyer for more information on our speaker series!
INK Magazine is looking for a new Finance Director.
INK Magazine’s Mission is to serve as an informational resource to the young and evolving Asian American community in Gainesville. Our goal is to present entertaining and informative articles on the most recent trends and issues that impact Asian American culture. Driven by intellectual curiosity, our aim is to Connect, Inform, and Inspire our readership base into a unified, well-educated, pro-active social force.
We are looking for exceptional individuals who want to be apart of the UF Ink Magazine team for 2010-2011. The Finance Director is in charge of all financial transactions as well as executing and implementing fund raising ideas. In addition, this person is also responsible for communication between the printing agency and the magazine. The Finance Director will be responsible for leading a sales team to sell ads.Applications are due by March 31, 5pm. Questions? Contact law.eic.ufink@gmail.com
KUSA T-Shirts are in!
The moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! We finally got our shipment of the new KUSA T-shirt designed by Khanh! Your first chance to get a hold on this limited edition shirt will be at the Norman Ng (Magician) show @ the Orange and Brew. We’ll have some KUSA representatives there selling the shirts The pricing is going to be 1 for $12, 2 for $22, or 3 for $30. The shirts are of American Apparel quality (like the AASU shirt) and they feel very nice so remember to check it out! Make sure to reserve your shirt ASAP because they’re going to run out quckily!

FSA Reverse AKA Week:
Bowling at Splitz @ 10:00 PM. It’s Quarter Night at Splitz (after a cover fee)! Games, shoes, food, and more are just a quarter! So come on out and show your ates and kuyas some love!
Tuesday: February 9th, 2010.
FSA Reverse AKA Week:
There’s going to be a Wet Field Day! The location is TBA @ 6:00 PM.
VSO General Body Meeting:
Come out to the VSO General Body meeting at Turlington L011. The doors open at 6:30 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Come to see what the upcoming Tet Show will all be about!
Wednesday: February 10th, 2010.
CASA’s Valentine’s Day Special:
This meeting will be held @ CSE E121. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show will start at 6:30 PM. Valentine’s Day is coming in close with Chinese New year and CASA is back and ready to make some special music with all of its members. Let’s dim the lights, light up some scented candles and put on some music to enjoy what CASA has to offer. There’s going to be an exciting icebreaker and a great cultural segment. Since both Valentines day and Chinese New Year is coming up, please wear RED to the meeting.

Gator Dining: Chinese New Year Dinner:
Gator Dining is having their annual Chinese New Year celebration and is serving Chinese food @ 5:30 PM. Feeling hungry? Come on over and have a great Chinese dinner @ Gator Dining.

There’s going to be a little get together at 11:00 PM. The location is TBA. You know what that means! Get ready to have some fun with FSA!
H.E.A.L. Scavenger Hunt:
It’s time for another H.E.A.L. Social! Hope you guys are all ready to run all around Gainesville! There’s going to be a scavenger hunt all around Gainesville so makes sure you have a digital camera (for proof), a car, flashlight, comfy shoes, and also a sweater for the chilly night! VSO’s 2010 Tet Show
UF’s Vietnamese Student Organization is having their 2010 Tet Show in celebration for the lunar new year. There will be many cultural displays as well as singing, dancing and acting. The location is at the Reitz Grand Ballroom and the doors will open at 6:00 PM and there will be free food and the showcase will be started 6:30 PM. Don’t forget about the official BE MINE: TET OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY at Studio.

After all of the celebrations, don’t forget about the great after party @ Studio on Saturday! Do you have a Valentine? No? Then come out and find yours right in time for Valentine’s Day! Yes? Then celebrate Valentine’s Day early with your someone special as you dance the night away! The OFFICIAL TET AFTERPARTY is going to feature DJ CODEMAN from 101.3! So you know it’s Legit! Come out and celebrate the lunar new year as well as Valentine’s day!
