Elections!

Nominations for the next AASU Eboard were yesterday, so now it’s time to get ready for AASU Elections on Monday next week, March 22!! Details are TBA, but for more information about how the election process works, feel free to consult the AASU Constitution. :D

Survey for Asian History Courses

Our Asian History Chair, Abner Yang, has been hard at work to get Asian History courses implemented at UF. To find more information on what students want when it comes to these courses, he has a survey for you to take! Check it out at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SZRSC33.

AASA Applications

This is an application for the Asian American Student Assembly Directorship position for Fall 2010 . AASA is an annual showcase of all the sub-organizations under AASU as well as for organizations that are involved within the Asian American community. This assembly typically draws crowds of 1000 or more each year. The duties of the directors are as follows: 1) Fully plan and execute every aspect of the show including but limited to coordinating with the organizations weekly, ensuring proper funding, promotions, technical programming, decorations, rehearsals and etc; 2) Ensure constant communication with the executive board of AASU and advisor bi-weekly; and 3) Be in Gainesville for the majority of the summer.

BDF Benefit Concert Emcee & Opening Act Applications

The Student for Building Dreams are holding the 4th Annual BDF Benefit Concert on April 2, 2010. We are currently looking for Opening Acts and Emcees for the show. If you are interested, fill out the appropriate application and send it to Theo Urbano at chyeahdore@gmail.com. If there are any questions, direct them to Theo.
