Asian Alumni Association

Dear University of Florida Asian Alumnus,

The Students of the Asian Alumni Project has taken several steps forward this year in their goal of building an association for Asian Alumni at UF. The association will be comprised of past UF students who are Asian/Asian American or from an Asian cultural background and will provide the opportunity for Asian alumni to continue to be involved with the campus and with current Asian students. In addition to connecting past and present Gators, the association will also serve to promote current Asian/Asian American issues on campus, preserve and add to the historical records of Asian students at UF, encourage networking and cooperation, instill pride in Asian culture, and more.

We are an initiative brought to you by the UF Asian American Student Union (2009).

Also, I don’t know if you noticed our name change, but we have decided to officially call this group the Association of Asian Alumni, not Asian American Alumni. If you have concerns with this, please email us: alumni.aasu@gmail.com.
