<div>The Asian American Student Union (AASU) is proud to present  &#8220;Rolling Out the Red Carpet&#8221;, the Asian American Student Assembly on  Friday, August 27. It will be held at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for  the Performing Arts which is located at 315 Hull Road, or right across  from Southwest Rec. This amazing event is AASU&#8217;s first big event of the  fall and will showcase dances, skits, and videos from the various  sub-organizations under AASU.</p>
<p>DOORS OPEN AT 6:00PM.<br />
SHOW STARTS AT 6:30PM.</p>
<p>Before the show begins, various organizations will be tabling, so come early to see what the UF campus has to offer!</p>

We&#8217;d like to pay our thanks to IRHA by helping them stuff the welcome bags from Wednesday, July 28 to Friday, July 30.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re stuffing the welcome bags at the basement of Broward hall from 10AM to 8PM every day, but the most critical hours are from 10AM &#8211; 2PM. Coming out to help out even for a little time would be greatly appreciated. <h2>Seoul Sho MCs wanted</h2>
<p>The Cultural Directors of KUSA are looking for MCs for the 2010 Seoul Sho. Seoul Sho is the largest annual event put on by the Korean Undergraduate Student Association each year. One male and one female will be selected to be the MCs for this year&#8217;s Seoul Sho on November 10. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SERCAAL is currently re-opening the position for Finance Director for those who are interested. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding financial skills to help seek out sponsorships from businesses and raising money for our Conference. The deadline for the application will be due on <strong><em>Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 at 11:59pm</em></strong>.</p>
<p>Finance Director expected duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>In      charge of creating a budget sheet which documents the income and      expenditures of SERCAAL.</li>
<li>Responsible      for updating the board with important information regarding any costs or      quotes, compiled in an organized spreadsheet to present to the board.</li>
<li>Responsible      for coming up with financial solutions and generating receipts</li>
<li>Responsible      for organizing a sponsorship packet that details every amenity and benefit      the sponsor will receive.</li>
<li>Seek      sponsors within the school and academic departments</li>
<li>Solicit      personal donations for alums</li>
<li>Collecting,      contacting, and requesting local businesses and national companies for      sponsorships.</li>
<li>Work      with <strong>Programming</strong> to allocate necessary funds to execute their needs</li>
<li>Keeping      up with registration fees with the <strong>Webmaster</strong></li>
<li>Find      other sources of funding</li>
<li>Maintain      communication with sponsors and follow up constantly</li>
<li>Goal:      to raise at least $5,000-$7000</li>
</ul>
