APIA Space in Peabody Hall

There is now space in the 4th floor of Peabody Hall for everyone to use dedicated to Asian and Pacific-Islander Affairs. If you need some place to hang-out, study, or just to chill, come check out this new place.

Seoul Sho MCs wanted

The Cultural Directors of KUSA are looking for MCs for the 2010 Seoul Sho. Seoul Sho is the largest annual event put on by the Korean Undergraduate Student Association each year. One male and one female will be selected to be the MCs for this year’s Seoul Sho on November 10. If you think you have what it takes to be a Seoul Sho MC, contact the KUSA co-Cultural Directors, Seulki Kang and Jessica Park, at kusa.cultural@gmail.com.

Finance Director expected duties:

• In charge of creating a budget sheet which documents the income and expenditures of SERCAAL.
• Responsible for updating the board with important information regarding any costs or quotes, compiled in an organized spreadsheet to present to the board.
• Responsible for coming up with financial solutions and generating receipts
• Responsible for organizing a sponsorship packet that details every amenity and benefit the sponsor will receive.
• Seek sponsors within the school and academic departments
• Solicit personal donations for alums
• Collecting, contacting, and requesting local businesses and national companies for sponsorships.
• Work with Programming to allocate necessary funds to execute their needs
• Keeping up with registration fees with the Webmaster
• Find other sources of funding
• Maintain communication with sponsors and follow up constantly
• Goal: to raise at least $5,000-$7000
