AASU Shirts!
The new AASU shirts for 2012 are in! There will be two options: a T-shirt and a long-sleeve shirt. T-shirts will be $8. Long-sleeves will be $10. Special sale for both shirts will be $16 CASH ONLY! The shirts will be available at the AASU Language Table on Monday.

Fred Korematsu Day is January 30th, and to observe this day APIA Affairs will be screening the documentary “Of Civil Wrongs and Rights: The Fred Korematsu Story.” “[The film] brings to life for the first time the inspirational story of an unsung American civil rights hero, and demonstrates the power of ordinary citizens to rise up against injustice.” Fred Korematsu was a shipyard welder in California in 1942 when Executive Order 9006 forced more than 100,000 Japanese Americans into internments camps. Fred Korematsu’s resistance to this injustice and his rallying of supporting activists would insure that such an outright display of injustice would never occur...

Winter vacation has finally come to an end. While many of you may be dreading over the renewed feeling of class and exams, there are many things upcoming in AASU. Spring semester is going to be a strong year for the AASU community. There are events on campus, such as AASU week and the numerous sub org events and outside of campus, such as ECAASU.
